Glyn Maddocks brings to Mediation Services an almost unprecedented breadth of experience in litigation and dispute resolution which he has gained over the last 25 years. In 2005 he was named Welsh Lawyer of the Year in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the legal profession.
As a highly experienced civil litigation lawyer he has represented clients in a vast range of different disputes, including complex personal injury, clinical negligence and fatal accident claims. He has also been involved in high profile judicial review and public law actions against statutory and regulatory bodies and multimillion pound commercial disputes. He has experience in a wide range of private client matters including construction disputes, landlord and tenant, education, employment, family and child care disputes.
Very many of these have been resolved through the use of formal mediation and/or alternative dispute resolution techniques.
A Nationwide Academy of Dispute Resolution (NADR) qualified mediator and Certified Mediator and Neutral of the Courts of Texas and of the Courts of the USA and admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, he has mediated both private and commercial disputes and is a member of:

For over 20 years Glyn has campaigned on behalf of victims of miscarriages of justice succeeding in getting wrongful convictions overturned and obtaining compensation for those wrongfully convicted. He is the founding trustee of the Centre for Criminal Appeals, a charity which provides access to justice for those wrongfully imprisoned.
Glyn is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Professional Negligence and since 2010 is an Honorary Senior Fellow at City University in London. He is currently a Consultant with prominent South Wales legal firm Gabb and Co., where for many years he was a partner.
